Iraq confirms readiness to deal with any international draft for lifting sanctions

Iraq said it is ready to deal with any draft presented to the United Nations Security Council that would consider lifting the international sanctions imposed for nine years.
The Iraqi official newspaper El-Thwra reiterated yesterday Baghdad's absolute refusal to the British - Dutch draft resolution raised at the Security Council because it aims at easing or suspending the sanctions imposed on Iraq.
