Faisal Al-Husseini: Big mistake if Israel tries obstructing the Palestinian track
Palestine-Egypt, Politics, 7/6/1999

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa met yesterday with Fiasal Al-Husseini, the official in charge of the Jerusalem file in the Palestinian National Authority.

After the meeting, Al-Husseini said he reviewed with Moussa the development of the current situation of the peace process in light of the expected formation of the government in Israel, and the issue of final negotiations on the Palestinian track as well as the Jerusalem issue, which stands on the top of concerns regarding final status.

He said, "The Israeli people gave Barak the potential and an authorization to take a clear stance regarding the issue of the settlements and pushing forward the peace process."

He expressed his hope that Barak will act according to these potentialities and not allow any kind of complications.
