Lebanon-Israel, Military, 7/6/1999
Israeli heavy artillery on Monday shelled from their positions in al-Qantara, Wadi al-Hajeir and the suburbs of Hadatha and Eita al-Jabal south Lebanese areas.
The occupation artillery also targeted al-Marbaa and al-Sawannah districts.
News reports from south Lebanon said the Israeli shelling coincided with a breaking of the sound barrier by the Israeli war planes over the city of al-Nabateyah. Further news reports from south Lebanon said the shelling caused damage to property and crops.
