Palestine-Israel-USA, Politics, 7/5/1999
Palestinian Liberation Organization executive committee member Asaad Abd El-Rahman, official of the refugees' file denounced the criticism of Israeli Prime Minister-elect Ehud Barak of the statements made by U.S. president Bill Clinton in Washington on last Thursday regarding the right of Palestinian refugees to live freely where they want.
In a press statement today, Abd El-Rahman said, "Barak's declarations form a unilateral stance, an improper and hostile beginning that joins Barak's four nos and does not serve the peace process."
He said the refugee issue is one of the final status topics, and no one has the right to veto it.
