Eritrea welcomes Libya's efforts to settle border conflict with Ethiopia

Eritrea on Sunday welcomed the efforts made by Libya to end the border conflict between Eritrea and Ethiopia.
Yamani Gebrikiskel, the advisor of Eritrean President Assyas Afworki, said, "The comprehensive proposal presented by Libya is accepted for us."
He added that Eritrea has repeatedly announced that this war is futile and acts of atrocities should be halted
On Saturday night, Libyan television announced that Eritrea and Ethiopia had agreed a Libyan peace agreement and an immediate cease fire for all military operations in order to sign a comprehensive cease fire agreement between Asmara and Addis Ababa.
