The Bahraini state security court on Sunday postponed the trial of Sheikh Abdul Ameer al-Jamri, the Shiite Bahraini man of religion who is accused of making contacts with foreign states, monitoring an illegal organization, encouraging acts of protest as well as disseminating false news.

Sadiq Abdul Ameer al-Jamri, the son of Abdul Ameer and his lawyer Abdul Shaheed Khalaf said that following the testimonies of four witnesses during Sunday's session, who denies the accusations addressed to Sheikh al-Jamil the trial was postponed until next Tuesday. Sadeq added that two of the witnesses Abdul Wahab Hussein and Hassan Musheima' were summoned from the prison to be witnesses. The two men ( Abdul Wahab and Musheima' a) are but two of seven opposition who are arrested without trial since 1996 with al-Sheikh al-Jamri. Al-Jamri was a former member in the parliament which was dissolved in 1995.
