Seven gunmen killed in Algeria

Algerian security forces have killed seven members of the Armed Islamic Group and confiscated their weapons during mopping-up operations carried out in the provinces in Saida, Mascara and Laghouat.
The Algerian daily al-Khabar said that other four gunmen surrendered themselves to the security forces in Saida province. The paper said two Algerian citizens were killed and another two were wounded as a result of two bomb explosions at Saeedeyah coast in Tebessa province, 70 km from Algiers.
