Confrontation between Amal movement and Hizbullah

Armed confrontations took place on Saturday between members of the Lebanese Hizbullah Party and Amal Movement in the town of Suhmur in the western Bekaa. News reports from the town said one person was killed and several were wounded in the confrontation. The Lebanese army cordoned off the town and is carrying out a campaign to arrest the persons who took part in or provoked these confrontations.
