Egyptian Minister of Tourism Mamdouh El-Beltagi said in special statements to ArabicNews.com today that actor Roger Moore has agreed to participate in a tourism film about Egypt in October. This agreement came during Moore's visit to Egypt to shoot a television program about magic and illusions. Moore visited childhood care projects in Cairo and Alexandria, in addition to tourist spots in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan. This visit comes in the framework of the Egyptian government's plan to confront severe competition in the tourism market with Lebanon, France, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Tunisia and Israel.

The US State Department said yesterday that the US has not changed its position on the issue of Palestinian refugees. Syrian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Muhammad Maher Jamal on Friday received Iraqi Oil Minister Amer Muhammad Rasheed and members of the accompanying delegation.
