Algeria welcomes Moroccan renowned singer

Renowned Moroccan singer, Abdelwahhab Doukkali, will perform songs from his memorable repertoire during the festival of Timgad and Batna (eastern Algeria), Algerian news agency APS reported. The Algerian festival will bring together stars like Youssou N'Dour of Senegal, Kadhem Al-Saher of Iraq and other Rai music idols.
Other Moroccan singers will participate in the Arab song festival of Beirut to be held July 27-29 by the Lebanese TV channel.
On the fringes of the festival, to be attended by 12 Arab countries, a seminar will debate the role of Television in promoting the Arab song.
