Conference of Egyptian national forces who oppose normalization with Israel to meet on Monday

The Egyptian national forces with their different political movements are convening a conference to oppose normalization with Israel at the Shepherd Hotel in Cairo on Monday morning.
Mostafa Bakri, the conference's general coordinator, said "The invitation was directed to leaders of the national work of parties, vocational and labor syndicates in Egypt, in addition to cultual figures and artists opposing normalization, among whom are former ministers and personalities that are known by its extreme hostility for Israel's penetration into Arab society."
The conference comes as a reply to the invitation directed by the Copenhagen Group for convening a conference on the same day in Cairo in which former Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres is to participate.
