International Airport of Nador Dedicated by a Flight from Germany

The International Airport of the Moroccan North-Eastern city of Nador was dedicated on Thursday by a flight coming from Frankfort, Germany, with 189 passengers on board.
The dedication ceremony was attended by a large ministerial delegation.
The airport, which is built over a 274 ha zone, will create 450 jobs and contribute to increasing and facilitating the flow of Moroccans living abroad. The $ 45.5 million project will be completed in 18 months with the construction of an airways terminal and other facilities.
The project is part of Morocco's efforts to break the isolation of the northern regions and bolster their socio-economic development process.
