Alsthom Company Electrifies Northern Zones

The Moroccan electricity company (O.N.E/ state-owned) entrusted Alstom Enterprise-- a branch of the French-British group Alsthom-- with $ 29 million worth electrification projects in 326 villages in northern Morocco.
The projects deal with the installation of 67,000 power pillars, supply of 2,300 km-long power lines and the installation of 300 power transformation units.
The projects are co-financed by the Japanese Overseas Cooperation Fund and the French Development Fund.
Alstom and O.N.E struck over the three past years contracts worth $ 40 million.
