Swiss steel factory in east Port Said

Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal El-Ganzouri reviewed yesterday with Henrick Taner, head of the international Swiss Concast Company, the steps for implementing a major steel factory that will be built in the industrial area in east Port Said.
The head of the Swiss company hailed in statements the investment climate in Egypt and said El-Ganzouri assured him that Egypt encourages local, Arab and foreign investment in all fields.
On his side, Abd El-Wahab Kouta, a businessmen who attended the meeting as he is a partner in this factory, said that starting the operation of the factory will take nearly 15 months, and the equipment will arrive during the next few weeks. He added that the factory uses the modern technology for steel manufacture.
