A workshop for supporting women's role in Lebanon

The economic and social committee for West Asia affiliated to the United Nations organized in its headquarters in the Lebanese capital a two-day workshop for supporting the women's role in Lebanon.
The workshop discussed women's and men's issues in Lebanon and women's legal status as well as their participation in public life.
This workshop, in whose organization some United Nations agencies participate, comes in the framework of the project for developing classified statistics on the Arab states.
