Eritrea speaks of victories against Ethiopian forces

Eritrea has announced that it has controlled advanced positions on the Merireb - Steit front on the borders with Ethiopia during recent battles. It stressed that its forces had killed or wounded some 6,400 Ethiopian soldiers and arrested another 17 soldiers.
The advisor for the Eritrea's presidency, Yamani Jabriyemskil said that Ethiopia was forces to alleviate its attacks on the main Merireib 9 Steit front. He explained that the " Ethiopian forces were completely frustrated and lost all its power and is no more able to launch a new aggression."
