Arab ambassadors in Cairo refuse normalization

Syrian ambassador in Cairo Issa Darwish on Thursday dismissed reports of the Israeli daily Yiedout Ahronout that the Arab ambassadors in Cairo would attend the conference of "Copenhagen Group" due on July 5th through 7th.
"All calls are rejected because the conference is a form of normalization with Israel that Cairo summit held in 1996 called for resisting it," Darwish asserted.
The ambassador stressed "the Arab ambassadors reject any meeting with the Israelis, what ever they are and what ever their conferences are" before the accomplishment of a just and comprehensive peace that is based on Israel's full withdrawal from the occupied Arab lands, SANA reported.
