European loan for Morocco
Morocco-European Union, Economics, 7/1/1999
The European Union agreed on granting Morocco a loan of $4.1 million to be specified for the social development program to combat poverty.
A statement issued by the European Commission in Cairo today stated that this program will be implemented in coordination with the Moroccan Ministry of Social Development and Work and that this loan will be started at the beginning of 2000 and will be specified for developing rural areas that suffer from a lack of the essential services.
