Morocco takes part in U.N. meeting on population

Morocco is taking part in the U.N. meeting on population held June 30 - July 2 at the U.N. headquarters in New York to assess the implementation of the work program adopted five years ago at the Cairo International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD).
The Moroccan delegation, led by the minister of economic forecasts and planning, Abdelhamid Aouad, will present to the meeting a report on the kingdom's population policy that was adopted in light of the ICPD recommendations.
