Lebanese premier discuss with Syrian FM latest developments

Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss on Wednesday made a telephone call to Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa, during which they made consultations on developments in light of the recent Israeli aggression against Lebanon and Israel's obstruction of the meeting of the April Understanding Monitoring Committee.
Al-Sharaa and Al-Hoss expressed identical views towards supporting of the April Understanding committee in spirit and content.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese premier announced that the atmosphere is promising towards continued work on the April Understanding, despite statements made by Israeli officials. He continued that the greater states, especially the US and France, are committed to the April Understanding.
