Lebanon compensates for martyrs or wounded of the Israeli aggression
Lebanon, Politics, 7/1/1999

Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss has signed payment orders to compensate the martyrs and wounded citizens as a result of the recent Israeli aggression on Lebanon.

Al-Hoss, meanwhile, received a check for US $1 million from the Building Group company as a contribution to rebuilding what had been destroyed by the Israeli aggression. The Lebanese premier was told by the chairman and members of the transport and tourism offices that the negative impact of the recent Israeli attacks against the Lebanese tourist movement was limited.

They added that the tourism sector will be able to absorb the shock promptly, thanks to the active move of Lebanese diplomacy and the measures taken to repair the electricity network and rebuild bridges targeted by the Israeli aggression.
