Arafat confers with al-Rawabdeh

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat on Tuesday in Amman discussed with Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawbdeh current developments in the region, means of reviving the Middle East peace process on all tracks, especially on the Palestinian track, and the implementation of signed agreements so as to reach the final status negotiations.
Well-informed sources in Amman said that talks between the two sides centered on strengthening bilateral coordination and cooperation as well as on revitalizing their agreements and executive programs.
Later in the day, Arafat left Amman following a two-day visit to Jordan, during which he met with the Jordan's King Abdullah.
