Tehran hosts Islamic unity conference

The 12th conference on Islamic unity continued its deliberations in Tehran on Tuesday. Several participants delivered speeches during Tuesday's session in which they underlined the importance of unity between Muslims and strengthening solidarity among the Islamic states in order to withstand the challenges the Islamic world faces as well as to deal with Islamic issues in various parts of the world.
The speakers underlined the importance of bringing together Islamic sects and of working to eliminate certain differences for the interests of the Islamic states and their causes to be able to take their due position in the world.
