Parties and associations support civil reconciliation in Algeria
Algeria, Politics, 6/29/1999
Chief of the Algerian Labor Party, Lowisa Hanoun, announced her party's support for all works that help restore peace and security.
In answering President Bouteflika's declaration of the civil reconciliation law, Hanoun said her party welcomes any procedures that aim at stopping weapons.
She said the pardon Bouteflika promised to thousands of Islamists who did not participate in killings must be attached with the issue of the missing (people) and the prisoners.
Four associations for defending victims of terrorism said they support Bouteflika's moves to restore peace in Algeria.
