Alexandria-Casablanca Sea line dedicated
Egypt-Morocco, Business, 6/29/1999
An Egyptian merchant vessel left the Alexandria port on Monday heading for Casablanca, inaugurating thus the new sea line between the two ports. The boat, loaded with 3,000 tons of white cement, ammonium and electric lamps, will anchor in Casablanca at the beginning of July.
The opening of the sea line had been decided by the third meeting of the Moroccan-Egyptian high joint commission that convened earlier this month in Rabat under the co-chairmanship of King Hassan II and President Husni Mubarak.
