Israel continues attacks against south Lebanon

Israeli forces on Monday continued their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon. In a statement, Lebanese security sources said that Israeli artillery on Monday at noon bombarded the outskirts of the towns of Majdal Zoun and al-Mansouri, as well as the neighboring valleys, the suburbs of Zebqin, al-Buttoum Mount.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces closed off Beit Yahoun crossing which links the district of Bint Jbeil to the liberated villages.
Israeli warplanes flew intensively at low-altitudes sorties over south Lebanon, to the airspace of the capital, Beirut, where they broke the sound barrier twice.
Moreover, the Israeli navy stopped a ship loaded with cars off the coast of the city of Tyre for more than one hour for inspection and forced it to pay a tax.
In retaliation, the Lebanese resistance on Monday afternoon carried out a series of attacks on the Israeli forces in the occupied part of south Lebanon. In a statement the resistance said a group of resistance men attacked an Israeli armored force driving on the road of the Israeli of al-Tibeh project in the central sector of south Lebanon. Direct hits were achieved.
Simultaneously, another Lebanese resistance group fired a number of mortar bombs at the same Israeli position, and direct hits were achieved. A third Lebanese resistance group attacked the pro-Israeli militia military reinforcement inside the Israeli position of Sujoud in the eastern sector.
Earlier in the day, the Lebanese resistance attacked an Israeli convoy in the western sector of south Lebanon. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said a group of its men ambushed an Israeli convoy carrying high-ranking Israeli military officers. Precise and direct hits were achieved when the convoy arrived at the Israeli al-Radar position.
