Two Moroccans win races in British Gateshead meeting

Moroccan world champion Nezha Bidouane won Sunday the 400 meter hurdles in the athletics Gateshead meeting, covering the distance in 55.18.2.
Nezha Bidouane who is preparing for the Sevilla World Championship was followed by Jamaican Deon Hemmings (56.29.3) and the Irish Susan Smith (56.60).
In the same event, part of the Grand Prix IAAF II, another Moroccan, Adil El-Kaouch, won the 3000 m race in 7:44.34/100.
El-Kaouch, holder of the junior world championship in the 1,500 m, was followed by two Kenyans, Cachara and Kipketer.
In the 1,500 m (female), Moroccan Zahra Ouaziz ranked second, clocking 4:05.43.3 behind Poland's Lidia Chojecka who covered the distance in 4:05.07.
