Palestinan authority ready to cooperate with Lebanon over conditions in Palestinian camps in Lebanon
Lebanon-Palestine, Politics, 6/28/1999
The Palestinian authorities have expressed their readiness to cooperate with the Lebanese authorities in order to put an end to moves made by certain forces aimed at "damaging our people's relations in the refugee camps with the Lebanese government."
A statement released following the weekly meeting held by the PA in Ramallah in the West Bank said, "Our messages and all sincere forces have expressed their total readiness to cooperate with Lebanese official sides and people's forces in order to eliminate the conspiracies in the service of Lebanese - Palestinian fraternity."
This was in reference to current events taking place in Ein al-Helweh Palestinian camp over suspicions of the involvement of Palestinian elements in the killing of the four judges at the Sidon judicial palace.
