Killings continue in Algeria

The Algerian daily al-Khabar issued on Sunday said Algerian security forces killed three gunmen from the Armed Islamic Group (GIA) in Chlef district, just 208 km from the capital Algiers. The paper also indicated that one member of the GIA was killed near a paper factory in al-Rabaheyah area in Saida province.
Meanwhile, Algeria's al-Youm daily said that a bomb went off on Muhey eddine coast in Tipaza province, resulted in the death of one member of the civil guard force, while one citizen was killed by the gunmen in Tizi Ouzou province.
