50.2 percent increase in the Egyptian tourist during May

The movement of tourists coming to Egypt recorded remarkable activity during May, as the number of tourists coming from all over the world reached 361,272 according to the latest report from the central body for mobilization and statistics.
The increase in the tourists' numbers was 120,676 in comparison with May 1998, for an increase of 50.2%.
Tourists from west and South European occupied the first position followed by Middle East then eastern European and North America.
Tourism nights increased to reached 2.9 million night 72.3%.
