Yemen welcomes Mubarak's call for convening the Arab summit

Yemen approved the call directed by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to convene an expanded Arab summit that discusses peace challenges in the area and Arab solidarity.
Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdul Qader Bajmal said the Egyptian call is in addition to the Yemeni - UAE call and a new motive for convening an expanded Arab summit.
He stated that, "The encouraging climate must be supported to advance steps for convening the summit as soon as possible."
Bajmal called on the Arab League, as the house of Arabs, to start moving and preparing for convening the summit and making necessary arrangements for it.
