Mubarak denounces Israeli raid, describes it as an aggression obstructing peace

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak strongly denounced the Israeli air raids made yesterday against Lebanon due to which 8 were killed and 86 persons were injured and many civil establishments were destroyed.

Mubarak said "The Israeli attacks, which are considered the most violent raid made by Israel against Lebanon in three years, form a serious escalation that does not go with the international charters and does not help build the stumbled peace process in Middle East, but it makes things more complicated."

In statements yesterday evening, President Mubarak expressed Egypt's support for the Lebanese government and people.
