Islamic states' delegations denounce Israeli shelling of south Lebanon

At the conclusion of its works yesterday, the 11th general conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs urged the international community to implement UN Security Council resolutions and peace agreements regarding Israel's withdrawal from Golan and south Lebanon.
It denounced the repeated raids launched by Israel on south Lebanon, especially the last one, which targeted civilians and Lebanon's basic infrastructure.
The conference urged the Islamic states to exert diplomatic efforts to enable the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights, topped by self-determination and establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital.
