EU Middle East peace envoy calls for self-control

European Union Middle East peace process envoy Miguel Moratinos on Friday called for self-control following the fierce Israeli bombardment of south Lebanon and dropping Hizbullah missiles on Israel. AFP said the spokesman for Moratinos said Moratinos on Friday morning made a telephone call to the coordinator of the Israeli activities in Lebanon, Ori Lubrani, and expressed concern over the killing of two Israelis in northern Israel. The spokesman added that Lubrani stressed that when calm is restored to the Lebanese-Israeli borders there will be no other moves in Lebanon.
