A report about drugs in the Arab states

A security report recommended that Arab states producing drugs must destroy illegal plants and different kinds of drugs and to ask the rich countries to share their experiences and for technical support, financial help.

The security reports published in Cairo cited the importance of providing a central data system based on using a joint database and computers in cooperation with it.

The report also called for focusing on catching international gangsters who smuggle drugs through cooperation among the Arab states and with other states and concerned international organizations.

It also said it is important to establish a central body to supervise and implement programs and cooperation plans as well to as follow up on implementation and the continuous development of means of combating drugs. It would also deal with implementation of agreements signed among the Arab states, whether on the bilateral or collective level.
