Algerian - Moroccan borders to opened in August

The Algerian daily al-Khabar announced on Thursday that Algerian - Moroccan land borders will be opened during August.

The Algerian daily reported that the governments of the two states will conclude normalization of their relations and improving these relations before the convening of the Maghreb summit due in November.

In another development, the same Algerian daily said that security forces in Algeria killed one Armed Islamic Group member in Awlad Khaled town in Saida province and that another gunmen was also killed and two others were wounded in al-Shalaf district.

The Algerian daily Sawt al-Ahrar said that one citizen in Bouira province, 130 km from the capital, Algiers, was killed by a landmine explosion.
