Al-Hoss: No unilateral agreement with Israel; no merger for SLA troops in the army

Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss stated that his country will not ratify a unilateral agreement with Israel and will not accept ratification of an agreement on establishing security arrangements with Israel, adding that Israeli withdrawal must be according to resolution N 425 regarding the unconditional, full Israeli withdrawal from the Lebanese south.
In a special interview to the Egyptian newspaper El-Ahram that was published today al-Hoss said his government is ready to discuss a special law that would decides on pardoning the Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia of Antoine Lahd, but he denied the possibility that the SLA soldiers could merge into the Lebanese army.
