Israeli-Arab millionaire distributes tens of bullet-proof vests in Knesset

An Arab Israeli millionaire on Wednesday distributed bulletproof vests to the 10 Arab members of the Israeli Knesset.
Israel Radio, monitored in Amman, quoted the millionaire, Jowdat Ibrahim, as saying that the purpose behind such move was to protect the Knesset members in light of the recent activities by the Israeli police against elected Arab figures.
For his part, Azmi Bishara, a knesset member from the United National congregation, was shot by a rubber bullet in his arm when the Israeli police started firing at Arab demonstrators in the city of Allad two days ago.
