Iranian FM arrives in Sudan tomorrow

Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi is to arrive in Khartoum tomorrow on a visit aimed at developing Sudanese-Iranian relations. During his three-day visit, the Iranian minister will meet with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, Sudanese Parliament Speaker Hassan al-Turabi, and other Sudanese officials.

Meanwhile, Sudanese Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismael has announced that meetings of the Sudanese - Eritrean security, political and economic committees will start in the first week of July with the objective of implementing the Doha agreement on reconciliation between the two neighboring states.

Ismael stated that the meetings of the military committee will start in the first week of July in Asmara, to be followed by meetings of the political committee on July 15-20 and then to be followed by the meetings of the economic committee in the period between July 20 and 25 in Khartoum.
