780 million Egyptian pounds for four Egyptian - British agriculture projects

Businessmen in Egypt and the U.K. agreed to establish four joint investment projects in agriculture at a cost of 780 million Egyptian pounds.
The projects include establishing a company for reclaiming 200,000 feddans in Toshka and another to exploit 250,000 feddans in El-Owainat.
At the same time, a draft study will be made on an 80 million pound project for potato production in Gaza as well on establishing an industrial agricultural assembly whose location was not determined, said Ahmed El-Ramli, head of the agriculture committee in the Egyptian - British business council.
