The first shift of Falasha arrives in Israel today

A spokesman for the Jewish agency said that a first group of the Falasha Jews will arrive today in Israel from Ethiopia. The spokesman added that this group number 80 persons and are on board of an ordinary flight on the Ethiopian airlines. The spokesman Michael Yankilo Venzan explained that 3800 Ethiopian Jews will arrive on weekly flights during the coming months, noting the Ethiopian authorities were very cooperatives. The spokesman added that those Ethiopian Jews will live in Mega Sereit Zeyoun" settlement, near Jerusalem.
