Abdul Meguid calls on Qatari efforts to remove misunderstanding between Saudi Arabia and Emirates

Arab League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Meguid expressed his appreciation for the good efforts made by Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates regarding policies effecting public positions on the three disputed islands claimed by Iran and the Emirates.

Meguid said this effort to end the dispute confirms the adherence of the Arab Gulf to the strength of relations between them.

Abdul Meguid said that rectifying disputes among the Arab states in this way forms a pattern for tackling these matters in their natural framework.

Abdul Meguid praised the continuous endeavors exerted by Sheikh Hamad to rectify atmospheres among Arab states.
