Palestine-USA, Politics, 6/21/1999

The Palestinian government asked the U.S administration yesterday to lift the restrictions still imposed on the bureau of the Palestinian Liberation Organization in Washington to enhance American - Palestinian bilateral relations.

Palestinian Minister of Justice Fereh Abu Median said, "Boosting the bilateral relations must start with removing all legal obstacles on the organization's bureau in Washington and on America's relations with the Palestinian Liberation Organization and the national authority."

Abu Median added, "The Palestinian legal committee made reports regarding these American rules and procedures that will be raised for discussion in the meeting of the joint committee to ask for uplifting them."
