Kuwaiti delegation hails Morocco's actions in favor of Arab unity

The visiting Kuwaiti delegation in charge of POWs and missing persons hailed Friday here Morocco's noteworthy actions in favor of Arab causes and unity.

At a meeting with the Moroccan and foreign press, the head of the Kuwaiti delegation, Mohamed Haddad, voiced his country's gratitude to King Hassan II for his sustained efforts to settle the issue of Kuwaiti POWs and missing persons and affirmed that the goal of the visit of his delegation is to inform Moroccan officials on latest developments of the issue of POWs and missing.

He voiced satisfaction over Morocco's stand regarding the issue of Kuwaiti POWs and said the meetings held with Iraqi authorities on detained and missing Kuwaitis were fruitless.

Haddad, who met with several Moroccan officials, underlined that his delegation's visit to Morocco is part of an international campaign to draw the attention of the international public opinion to the issue of POWs.
