Gaddafi visits Sudan

Libyan leader Colonel Moammar Gaddafi started a visit yesterday to Khartoum.
At his arrival at Khartoum Airport yesterday Gaddafi expressed his appreciation for the Sudanese government's support for Libya during the crisis of international sanctions on his country.
Gaddafi told Sudanese President Omar El-Bashir, who was receiving him at Khartoum Airport, that he loves the Sudanese people and their revolution.
Gaddafi is to participate during his visit, on which a large Libyan delegation is escorting him, in opening establishments to whose financing Libya contributed. He is also expected to resume his efforts to achieve Sudanese reconciliation and discuss the results of his communications with leaders of opposition in Libya recently.
