Microsoft opens office in Lebanon after intellectual property protection

The Microsoft Company inaugurated yesterday its works in Lebanon and took downtown Beirut as its headquarters.
The celebration coincided with the application of the law for protecting intellectual ownership on June 14 after it was ratified by the Lebanese parliamentary council in late March.
Lebanese Trade, Industry and Economy Minister Nasser Saidi spoke during a dinner celebration held by Microsoft yesterday at the Commodore Hotel on the country's project to enhance the field of information, saying that Lebanon is ready to present services in field of information and the possibility of creating an institute for computer programming.
