Moussa visits Washington today

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa is heading today to the United States for an official visit to prepare for the visit the visit of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak at the end of current week. Moussa is to visit New York, Chicago and Detroit then Washington, where he will meet with US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

Moussa said, "The agenda will be comprehensively opened for all raised issues of joint concern."

Regarding his discussion with Albright, which will convene at the eve of Mubarak's arrival at the USA capital, Washington, Moussa said, "The discussion will tackle different aspects of strategic relations, the peace process, the situation in Middle East and in the Mediterranean Sea and the international presence in Kosovo."
