Moroccan women to be involved in desertification struggle
Morocco and the UNDP decided to promote the involvement of the woman, and especially the rural woman, in implementing the convention that was ratified by Morocco in 1996. Workshops, sensitization campaigns and training sessions will be held for the benefit of Moroccan women to stress the role of local populations in struggle against desert encroachment.

Several Moroccan Athletes at Golden League First Round
Fourteen Moroccan athletes will participate on June 30 in the Oslo meeting, which will mark the first stage of the IAAF 8-meeting Golden league. The Moroccan armada is headed by Nezha Bidouane, the 400 m woman world hurlder champ, who made the best world performance of at the Athens meet on the same distance.
