Two new Israeli raids in South Lebanon, daring resistance operations continue

The Israeli war planes raised twice on Thursday Wadi Zalaya district in the western Bekaa, while the occupation artillery bombarded several areas in the occupied part of South Lebanon. No casualties were reported.

In retaliation the Lebanese national resistance carried out nine operations resulted in wounding three members of the Lahd's hireling militias of the South Lebanese Army SLA. The wounding of the three soldiers was admitted by the SLA. In a statement, the Lebanese national resistance said that one of its groups attacked the Israeli and SLA positions in Zamraya, al-Ammadeyah, al-Teibeh, al-Qasir, Markaba, Sujoud al-Tahra, Houla and al-Salaa and that direct hits were scored in the said positions.

Meantime, the Lebanese President Emile Lahoud has asserted that Lebanon will be always steadfast and committed to the choice of maintaining the unity of track with Syria under the leadership of President Hafez al-Assad in confrontation of all aggressive schemes and conspiracies. During his meeting with several Lebanese members of Parliament on Thursday, the Lebanese President stressed that the Israeli conspiracies to eliminate stability through direct or non-direct aggressions through hirelings will doom to failure, He described the raid which was carried out by the Israeli warplanes against al-Asi areas, North Lebanon on Wednesday as a flagrant violation to Lebanon's sovereignty. The Lebanese President indicated that there will be a" modern election law" that will be an introduction to political reforms, which is the base for all reforms for the coming generations."
