Egyptian - Algerian parliamentary talks

The chairman of the Arab Parliamentary Union, Fathi Sorour, who is also the speaker of the Egyptian Parliament has praised the march of democracy in Algeria and its success in deterring all attempts aimed at destabilizing the country.
In a statement to Sawt al-Arab radio broadcast on Thursday morning, Sorour added that the current visit of the Egyptian parliamentary delegation which is the first of its kind, aims at becoming acquainted with Algeria's democratic experience and economic reforms.
He added that talks dealt with bilateral and Arab relations as well as with the importance of establishing a common Arab market.
